Caveman, agree with you totally but this was an emotional rather than logical decision and I am committed now. We are moving back 4.5K miles with everything completely in the air at the other end. I intend to keep the car indefinitely and get some comfort in that there will be at least one constant. I may come to regret it but I don't think so.

John, thank you for the very kind offer and I will probably take you up on it. The car should arrive at the end of February. Adie has offered some help that may allow me to bodge through the MOT (thanks!) but then I will want to do it properly. Which part of Belgium do you live, I spent over 3 years living in Waterloo and working in Louvain-la-Neuve? Greatly underrated country.

Thanks to all,

Chris
