Mike,

My information (experience) is for 85.5 onward. I am a little surprised that the sheet-metal is changed in those areas (or modified?). Cars do go through evolutionary changes, though. The 924 structure would have been the basis for these cars anyway. Who knows how many other little things changed that we don't have ready knowledge of?

hey, no prob, I appreciate the reply. My 84 only has one drain, and it is the round hole with a rubber cap that goes towards the front of the car. I just went and took this pic and you can see no drain at all towards the fender, unlike apparently, later years.
