I started with a standard Jetta, moved to a 4motion 1.8t 5 speed Passat (prettymuch a quattro) and now am selling my GTI for a truck. I can't stand the front wheel drive in the GTI. My wife had a TDI buyback jetta 6 speed and now has a tiguan which isnt anywhere near as fun to drive. I would love to check out some of those events but it all depends on our availability because of all the work I have been doing around the house too. I am currently transferring all the records of the car into an excel spreadsheet to hopefully find out more about the vehicle and to have them all in one place versus on paper. I would like to meet up sometime in the future too to pick your brain about what might be done to the car currently that isnt stock. I know it has some sort of lindsey racing chip and the upgraded fuel pressure regulator, some upgraded hoses, an oiled intake filter and it looks like an upgraded diverter valve. I am not sure if JJ still goes there because I am not completely in tune with the group, just a couple of the members.
