considering that people out here do not know how to drive in the rain without having accidents, that's not a bad idea.
Sometimes, when it starts raining before rush hour, I just go have dinner near my office rather than wasting hours trying to get home.

First, absolutely beautiful car, very nice pictures. Second too add on what kjp was saying, i live in MI, you have to be able to drive in the snow cause theyd dont shut anything down during the winter, so you get pretty good, my frind moved to tennessee, he said they got an inch and people were going crazy, cars in the ditch, school canceled. I just thoght that was quite funny.

I used to live in Ottawa where it snows a lot during the winter. An army of snowplows and salt/sand trucks runs all night keeping the streets clear so that in the morning when everyone jumps in their cars to go to work the roads are mostly clear. If it snows here we have only a couple of snowplows that really have no chance of keeping up. Also people here rarely change their tires from their summer ones since it's really not necessary but are caught out the odd time when it is.
I found quite often that people who drove in the snow regularily usually weren't much better at it, they just had more confidence (I can't tell you how many times I saw people sailing through intersections with all four locked up in Ottawa!).
Anyway, great pics Rich! I sometimes miss the snow, living in the city. Maybe I should drive up the mountian more often (It's nice to be able to visit the snow and then go home
).

Randy and all you other V.dot playas: TBC on Monday December 1. Time is TBA. Get ready to get lapped. Owain will probably smoke all of us - if he can come out. Would you guys prefer morning or evening? If we go after 6pm we might be able to get some more ppl to come out. But I was just thinking a small group of 4-6 ppl. It's $10 per heat, I was thinking we'd do a 5min warmup/qualify and then a 15-20 min race. let me know.
