2.2 would be nice- no need to cut up the front for an oil cooler. What kind of exhaust with a R sided pipe ?

It has factory heat exchangers and a sport dual exhaust - not sure of the exact brand. Seller ( a friend of mine) is still compiling the complete build sheet. Here's a shot of the engine compartment:

You'll have a lot of fun with that car!! And you'll never get tired of the sound... and you'd better not as the engine is 6" away from you!

I sincerely appreciate the steer, Marty, what an inexpensive parts car!

I would shoot the rockers and valances back to the original black and maybe have the wheels refinished in the stock look and then just drive it.

I agree, and maybe paint the bumpers black as well, but I like the body colored front spoiler from years ago, when many of the dealers shot the limited edition spoilers body color. My very first 914 was that way, phoenix red black bumpers, neg stripes, black bumpers, and body color limited edition spoiler

Yes, I plan to have the rockers, valence, and front spoiler painted black. Maybe also do the negative "PORSCHE" stripes. I like the polished Fuchs look, but the 16-inch black Fuchs currently on the car I think look good, too.
...And, yes, just drive it!

If you wanted a more traditional look, there is a group buy of new stainless steel bumpers over at 914 world... it's a slipery slope!!
