Question G50 914/6 Conversion

Hi everyone! I'm making a tube frame 914/6 racer and have a 993 3.6 and (possibly) a G50 trans waiting to go in!

Can anyone tell my what is entailed in flipping a G50 for mid-engine? Should I even bother? Maybe go 915?

Thanks,

Jim

Well that thread told me some things: You pretty much cannot flip the G50 diff. But did mention turning the whole trans upside down.

I have heard this before and need to know how this can be done when the tranny studs are not symetrical? THe top studs are 1/2" closer together than the bottom studs.

Help!

Jim
