Preparing some id plates, stickers and emblems that will go into this build. Dig the 91 octane sticker...going right back in the front trunk where it belongs.
The Karmann door jamb plate will be stamped with the L 908 paint code (Gran Prix white), and the orig build number found on the rear trunk floor.

Original assembly code# stamped in the rear trunk floor was carefully removed (during the metal surgery of 9148gtt) ; and once again resides in a small corner of the rear trunk

At this point we are thinking about placing these onto the tall plenum, passenger side. The driver side plenum is busy with the accl cable brackets and such. I also like putting the "Cayenne" on the left eng grill/ and "Turbo" on the right eng grill...
thoughts ?

As we were setting up the JRZ shocks for the "Full droop " stop limits today/ then testing the onboard Genesis air-jacks for full travel (9" ram) of extension...

I think it would look great on the engine grill. It would tie in well with what's underneath.

Feelin' the need to hand stamp the paint-code alum plate today, L 908 Grand Prix white. Some of Inglewood's best sugary treats to get the hammer-tap right !

These 7/16" dia hood pins (from Pegasus) are perfect for holding the 914 grills in place

Our JRZ shock absorber tech over at ERP Suspension has corrected the "Full droop " limit on the rears; this is the difference of tire clearance Vs the lower lip of the rear quarter panel . This will allow for tire removal when the air-jacks are deployed.
