Default Got her back, finally...pics

still spending time cleaning this thing up, and still have some detail work to do, including badges on the engine lid, but so far so good, and she runs fantastic!

Looks GREAT! Is that a Monza exhaust? My dad had a Monza on his way back when. Sounded good but rusted out pretty quickly.

Still haven't figured out which exhaust system I'm putting on mine when I get it back. Not going to bother with heaters so that should open it up...

It is a Monza. When I bought the car the Monza came with it, but was not on the car. Had a SuperTrapp removed (didn't care for it) in favor of the Monza.

looks great! Question: why did you decide the mount the crest so high on the hood? just curious.

that's where it was when I got it, and I wasn't astute enough to move it during the restoration. To be honest, I hadn't noticed, so now it will gnaw at me.

My first Porsche was a 1973 914. Loved it very much. I wish sometimes I could have kept it. Yours looks like it just stepped off the showroom floor. With the carbs--even better! Great job.
