Default New stablemate...

Replacement for the wife's M3 which goes off lease. Will make more sense for a year around car in Iowa winters.... when we have to be in Iowa during the winter!

Maybe it's not a another 914, but sat radio, wind blocker and 265hp turbo motor and AWD not bad!!

Looks nice.. Just make sure you get some winter tires for it or it won't be any better than the M3

I'll be getting a winter wheel-tire combo. Done that for all the quattros. Have a set of Blizzacks on the A8 right now. Don't like going from 19" to 18" but it's only for the winter!! Didn't bother with the M3 because I thought it would be worthless even with good snows. We had a 540i sport I put winter-wheel tires on and it did just ok. The quattros will go anywhere as long as the snow isn't REAL deep.

Very cool. Congrats. I have owned 9 Audis, and every one of them has been great. The TTS is very, very cool - and versatile.

That's the good thing about a TT- not a real sports car per se but fun to drive, will go anywhere, and who does interiors better than Audi?? Yeah for all out performance the M3 is a better car, but 20mpg with a tailwind does get old. I'd prefer a stick but the DSG is a decent alternative, and I can always take out the 914 or GT3 if I want to row the gears, in the right weather that is.

Our previous TT with the right winter tires was probably the best winter I've ever had. Small agile and a blast in the snow as long as there weren't a lot of other idiots around you.
