Couple more. The brothers that run the shop took some time off- went to Rennsport Reunion in their '66 911! Put 4400 miles on it!! Had to show me a bunch of pictures. Of course, they had to force me to look at them...

Getting excited. The undercarriage will look new as well... nice winter project putting it all back together. Of course, now some parts that I thought were "ok" don't look so good. I did have the front bumper rechromed and the holes for the bumperettes filled. Bumpershop did a great job!! Recommend them. Not cheap but looks new.

(thanks Jay for telling me how to upload the pics- it worked great- pics are from my iphone so not the greatest but it's all I had with me)

Im impressed you didn't need me to help you upload the pics! Even tho those wheels are only temporary for painting...they need to go FAST.

The old man can occasionally do computer stuff without help from the peanut gallery, but not often...

Gotta love those wheels!! I have NO idea where he found those!!! (when he found out how much those Fuchs were worth, he probably didn't want any overspray on them!!)

More paint work- they keep promising me more pix... doing a few mild "outlaw" mods like louvers in the engine lid as this car will spend most of its life in Arizona.
Taking my time putting the engine back together. Always seem to come up a little short on parts. I'm short 4 of the thick head bolt washers...damn...no idea where they are!

Sorry no new pix but in final primer, doors and lids on and gapped... just about finished engine sheet metal before I escaped the Iowa "winter" for a few weeks... they can take their time for a while now...
