Default Many Years Ago...

...I would, once in a while, buy a leather steering wheel cover for a customer. They were really nice, fit snug, and had a heavy thread that laced through holes in the cover on the inside of the wheel rim (as opposed to wrapping around the rim). Do any of you know if someone still sells covers like that?

Boy, that brings back memories! How many 60's British sports cars had those??? Had many friends with them... haven't seen them for years, but try Dallas Steering Wheel, or just google it and see what happens

After looking over several cars at the various Scottsdale auctions this last week, it is amazing how SKINNY steering wheels used to be!!

Thanks, guys. It appears that there are still plenty of options out there.

skl; skinny wheels. Amazing, even custom wood wheels by Nardi, etc., didn't have much grip surface - and those older cars were harder to steer!
