Default Best place to sell my 914/6?

I've had my 914/6 for over 11 years and have totally refurbished it during that time.

I haven't driven it much in the last year as priorities are changing.

It's in great condition and no rust.

Have all the original parts that have been replaced with better parts.

It's signal orange, 1970 about 130K miles on the chassis.

It's pretty fast because of the larger engine and it handles really well because of the nice suspension stuff.

Like to sell to someone who knows the cars and would appreciate this one.

Thanks for any input.

Thanks.

If I can't find a buyer that's fine. It's a super joy to drive and everyone loves it that sees it. Lots of stories come pouring out of people.

I guess just sitting around for months at a time is par for the course anyway.

You sold it recently here?

Anyway, good to know. I'll look into it.

Hopefully, he won't read this...

Thanks.

I've really enjoyed it and have brought it to many car get-togethers such as the Concorso Italiano in Monterrey,Palo Alto Concours D'Elegance, and others.

I think I have seen this car on a website. Don't you have a whole website dedicated to some terrible restoration work that was done on it? That will nick your price in the bud... That is you isn't it? I'm sure I have seen this website. Gotta go looking for it. I'll post a linky.

914world/club.. While a bulk of what might be rollers, the fact is, they are filled with 914 enthusiasts.

You could try selling here, PCA if a member, or Pelican Parts

Or you could go through a consignment shop.

Or someplace like DuPont Registry etc.

Pics are nice, but be sure to have full details about any work, rust, etc etc. motor specs, dyno pulls (vs speculation) are nice too.

Have a price range too.. A few years ago, the Euro market was strong and lots of old 911s and 914s were headed back to germany.. not sure if that is still as true today.

While you didn't ask, the true value now for a 914-6 is in ORIGINALITY.. ie, orignal, slow 2.0l motor. Orignal paint etc. Anyone can "build" a restoration.. but having a nicely preserved original, imho, is worth more.

GLWTS and oh yeah, How much do you *think* its worth?

What motor is in your? 2.4? 2.7? What about the suspension upgrades - what specifically? larger torsion bars? new bushing? new shocks? sways?
