Hopefully, he won't read this...
He did and he called me!

But how much?

I love your car. If you enjoy presenting your car for comment, I just made mine. If you want to sell it, you need to price it. I'll be the first to make a firm, cash offer ranging from $0-$100,000 USD picking up the car at your house. What do you think? I promise to drive it daily, wash it weekly, and argue to the point of violence that a 914-6 is a REAL PORSCHE!

Matt, maybe if you were just more clear and asked him how much he was selling it for it would go a lot easier.

Rob, how about that linky? Olav, do we know each other? I feel I have seen this car before somewhere.

I was stunned. I have never heard anything but GREAT stories about Altissimo though I have never met Brandon. Original Customs is very well known on the West Coast Porsche scene for great restoration work. Then I saw this and I am sure it is the same car.

WOW, I am surprised a body shop put that back out there. Sorry you had to go through that.

That's just the thing Jay, Neither of these shops is known for anything less than great work.

If I were trying to sell a car, I sure wouldn't want that clouding the value. In the nebulous 914-6 world, news of a bad restoration makes the difference between a $30K sale and a $20K sale or worse.

I am pretty sure what Mr. Olav is looking for is some deep pocketed fool to make him a ridiculous offer.

I have spoken with both of the accused shops and as always, there is another side of the story. If it were me, and I wanted to someday sell my car, I surely wouldn't have some passionate rave about how terrible the restoration job was clouding the value on the internet. Not to mention the libel/slander aspect. I'm just sayin'...

I will see your $1 and raise you another. Olav, you had best jump on my offer before I pull it off the table. But seriously, your car is gorgeous!
