I found some SS heat exchangers I want to buy, but the guy is selling them as ones off of a '72 1.8. We all know that 1.8's weren't made in 1972. Assuming they are 1.8 exchangers, will they fit my 1.7? Thanks gang!

Same as long as it's not for the cats. Should be swept up at the rear. I have a set of non-ss ones here that you can look at to compare.

Thanks Matty! They are local so going to look at them isn't a big deal. Maybe on Sunday after we take out the boat we can head over.
