Which lines are you talking about, Matt?

The lines in the tunnel and the engine compartment that run up under the battery box. The "hard lines" if you will. These are the ones Chris sells at Tangerine.

Also be a good idea to change out the rubber lines in the engine compartment.

I was confused, because the tunnel lines in my car are steel, and the install makes me think that they might be original (the rubber grommets, etc, are in beautiful condition, and seal well). VIN cut-off, perhaps? The plastic lines under the battery are long gone, someone has replaced them with smooth exterior, HD, 911-style fuel hose.

I'm certainly planning to replace every piece of fuel hose in the car, and have the bulk hose and Norma clamps on hand to do the job!

Many times, the lines in the tunnel are original and that would make them a hard plastic which as you can imagine can get brittle with age, hence the suggestion to upgrade.

All of them.

There are original metal lines that come out of the tank. Those would be fine. There are rubber lines that go from the tank to the tunnel lines. Those get changed. The lines through the tunnel that exited at the firewall were plastic and get the Tangerine ones. The rubber lines from there to the FI get changed.

Fuel pump location doesn't matter because it has rubber lines going to and from it that get replaced.

OK, so I'm good - my tunnel lines are steel, and the install is very well done.
