Your preaching to the choir. I also have 169k miles on my 993 cab and who knows how many miles on my race car... oh, and 150k on my Tahoe...

BTW, know anyone looking for a perfect and pristine '74 2.0 with 71k miles on it? Excellence says it's worth a fortune... or at least relative to what I would think they should cost. I have one for sale...

Bob,
I agree that 914's are out of this world with pricing, I am trying to sell my '73 with 25K miles on it for all the money as well. If someone is willing to pay, they can have it.

Jay,
If you don't mind me asking, how much are you looking to get for you 914?
PM me if you'd like.

Last year was over 10k of street and track miles. Some big trips in there, took it to Laguna Seca for the weekend and put about 1200 miles on it in 3 days. Mine is definitely a driver and not a trailer queen. I drive it every day it's not raining pretty much, also won a time trial championship in the local club.
I bought it at 61K miles and it's got 76k now.

Here she is at Laguna Seca for the Historic's this year

Great to see them driven! Got mine out yesterday to fill up with gas, Stabil, and lead substitute (have no idea if that stuff is even worth it...) as our good driving weather won't last much longer. Started right up- good topdown weather for Iowa in November!! Even had time to warm the oil up in the Ducati...
Going to spend most of January in Scottsdale- wish it wasn't so much or I'd ship the 914 down there for the month!!!

We actually took Huey down to CMP for the day to check out the NASA race on Saturday.
I learned that I need a new clutch/pressure plate (stock is too weak for a 2.7 engine), I have some electrical gremlin in the ignition (tach bounces and it stalls/hesitates ever so often), but otherwise runs great. Beautiful day, low 70's, top off....

I accept with information:Have a total of approx 115,000 on it as the angle drive gears have broken enough times the odometer shows a bit less. Took it on a vintage car tour across Iowa a few years ago.

That is a lot of driving in 1 year! Well done indeed. I LOVE YOUR WHEELS! I would love to find me some of them.

Thanks! They are Panasport Racing wheels in 15x6. Very hard to find a used set and the new ones are made to order and take a number of months. I do know of 2 used 15x7 sets here in SoCal but they won't fit narrow bodied cars.

If I could find 'em I'd buy 'em. Took me a couple months to find the set I bought for $900, it was only set I found. I'm always looking for another.

New they go for around $1400 last time I asked, they want the payment in full and then you get to wait 4-6 months and see if they show up.
