Right so did this guy go to jail or not? And did he get the tail lights from ebay.
Were they original 914-6 tail lights?

Rob,
As nice as the car looks, it is even faster! Matt can keep up with anything on a straight up to a RSA! It is a 150 MPH 4 banger!

It's a 2270 that borrowed Jakes ideas on bore and stroke. The rest is my kind of ideas. Huge cam, lots of head work by Adrian, lightweight lifters, custom pushrods and type I rods. I then did lots and lots of little things like cleaning up the inside of the case, balancing down to .1 grams, revised oil relief passages, and custom piston pockets. An accusump is one of the most important things it has.
It runs well. It could use seme dyno time. I have 48 IDF Webers on it. It still runs a little rich, but I figure that is safe. At the glen, I can get 140 on the back straight. It'll outrun Boxsters, 944s, Carreras and older. It's also has Wilwood brakes front and rear, Koni sport shocks, 21mm torsion bars, 19 mm front sway bar, and 180 lb springs.
I did all the motor work and body work. I had the guy I worked for at the bodyshop spray it, but it's never been wet sanded. Overall, it's really really fun. Sorry for bragging a little.

Oh yeah, the oil cooler is where it is because nothing on the car has been cut up. I can take the motor out, the oil cooler off, and put the 4 lug back in and there are no extra holes in the car!

Sounds like a for sale ad Matt.
Matt and I had a blast driving the 914's out to the coast last night at the NCR Ice Cream Run. Gorgeous night dude!

I think what you are saying is that you have run the lines for the cooler under the car all the way to the front so that you didn't have to cut holes? Those plastic plugs are for the oil cooler air flow right? Right behind your cooler in the pic?
