Fixing an oil leak in the '73 and awaiting rebuild/refresh of the transaxle at California Motorsport in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Took some pix of the interior of the '71 for Brett Johnson's new restorers guide on the 914...

Found a 2.0 side shift gear box to take apart, I will use the casing on my 70 914/6

Draining fluids in anticipation of dropping the engine/transaxle to rebuild the transaxle and return the rear end to 7/31 from 6/29 I did many years ago when autocrossing the '71 a lot... figured it deserves a more sedate life now that it is 50 years old, and the driver is 21 years older than that!
