Post belt comming off
I seem to be having a problem keeping my alt. belt on the pullies on my 73 914 w/1.7 engine anybody else experience this problem and know the fix?? Thank Jim

I had the same problem. When I installed a new belt, the problem went away.

Hello

check the aligment from your alternator and if the curved adjustment bar sits correct and the lower eyebolt has no play.
