A single 4 bolt Fuchs wheel needed
In a fit of temporary insanity, I let my 16 year old nephew borrow my lovingly maintained, 'rust-free', gorgeously painted 914 so he could go to his Christmas Dance in style. This car has been in our family since brand new in 1973, so somehow I thought he would be extra careful. Stooopid me. I guess I have forgotten what being 16 years old was like.
In any event, he learned how dangerous the sudden lift can be in a 914, and spun the right rear of the car into a brick mailbox, crunching the wheel, fender, trunk lid, and suspension at that corner. Fortunately my 914 mechanic has good parts to make the baby whole again, but I need to find a decent replacement wheel.
If anybody has a single for sale, give me a shout.
Thanks,
Chip
