Question Injection hoses - help, please?

I've put the engine back in the 1975 1.8 car. All hooked up. Doesn't start. The fabric fuel hose from the runner to injector cyl #4 is leaking. The hose has crimped fittings on the ends. I don't find this part on the Pelican site. Can I replace it with regular fuel hose w/ clamps? Is the injection system pressurized, so the leaking hose is preventing the start?

Yes you can replace it with regular fuel injection (high pressure) hose not carb fuel hose. Also you should buy FI hose clamps. All should be available at your FLAPS (friendly local auto parts store).

While you're at it replace all fuel hoses in the engine compartment since there have been some engine fires on the 914 due to bad fuel hoses.
