K&N air intake systems are now available for 2.0 and 1.8 fuel injected 914s. These intakes were tested for almost a year, and participated customers discovered a big improvement in performance, especially in 2.0 engines. Our customers claim up to 20 HP gain with this system and "double" exhaust. We welcome your comments and suggestions. The system can be examined at 9xauto.com

Not that I want to be picky, but just giving my opinion. 20HP with a K&N, got any real dyno numbers. Plus it seems (but is unclear) that the drain pan has to be removed, what if it rains!

We do not have dyno test results. But what we do have, is a PCA concourse results- making 2.0 914s equipped with this device qualified for 944 category. As far as the rain, the filter is completely under the lid and will not be a subject of the rain damage.
