Post NW 914 meet

We had a great time with our first meet put on by Jamie Rust on May 25th. 21 914 through Monmouth, OR. <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />
Lets keep doing this. Next meet is at my house in Beavercreek, about 5 miles south of Oregon City. Plenty of parking on my 1.75 acre lot.
Jeff McDonald of Vintage Restorations will there to talk about bodywork and paint. I should have some giveaways from Snap-On plus a few other things. We will go through a drive in the country and have lunch after the tech session.
The date is June 22. Post or email me at keith@bctonline if you wish to attend.

Tom, glad to have you join us.
10:00 am June 22nd
16052 Leland Road
Cell # 503 577-3854

From I 205 take the Park Place exit (N. of Oregon City, S. of Gladstone)
Go through the first couple of lights and proceed up the hill, approx 3 miles. At the next light turn left (Beavercreek Road)
Drive 5 miles until the speed reduces to 35 mph and turn right on Leland Road (Beavercreek makes a hard left, Kamath Road goes straight) My house is about 500 feet down on the left. Look for a single story brick house with a U driveway and lots of landscaping about 50 feet off the road. I'll have a sign up and the Green Weenie parked in front.

Great, I'm putting together a website right now, and I am looking for good 914 groups to have links to. Finally, the snobby 911 and Boxter people will be excluded!

Cbass, I have no problems with most of the 911 or Boxsters. In fact I see a Boxster about once a week and he always waves back. No matter if I'm driving my Nissan truck or my 914. This guy in the silver 928 on the other hand..
I wouldn't have a problem with inviting them along to our 914 meet. The ones excluded would be the ones asking what kind of wine is being served.

Uuhh.. the stuff in the box. heheheh <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

I don't have any problem either, I just find a lot of 911/986 people scorn 924s and 914s... tsk tsk.

Jamie, I have some funky aftermarket rims so I don't think the longer lugs will fit. No big deal setting this up. Mostly just typing on the computer. We'll just chill out in the back yard with our cars.
Thanks for offering a discount. After eating my burgers you may have wanted to charge $ 225.00
