Cool Just finisned 914-6 GTS

Yea! We just finished this 914-6 GTS.
We had a great time building it.
It is a 73 chassis that was in great shape with zero rust and no damage.
We installed steel GT fenders and painted it Porsche 993 Cobalt Blue Metallic. We installed 911S front suspension with the alloy brakes with SST lines and a 19mm MC. It has 21mm torsion bars with a 22mm adjustable sway bar and turbo tie rods.
The rear brakes are original 6 calipers and 180 Lb rear springs
We stuffed in a Carrera 3.2L under a GT lid with a chip, headers and a high flow air filter. It put out on our chassis dyno 199 Hp and 188 TQ.
We used a 901 gearbox with the original 6 gear ratios.
It halls butt Man! It's an "A" ticket ride!
We put 7"and 8" x 15 Fuchs with 225s and 245s BFGs
Here is a few pics.

Post a picture of the engine compartment- BTW, why did you keep those god-awful front bumperettes? (That's the first thing I took off my '73) Otherwise it looks great!

Beautiful! Where did you get the rockerpanels that match the fender flares?
I just finished a 3.2L install in my original 914-6 (also in blue but not in as good condition as yours).
Any thoughts on racing seats? That is my next project if I can find some resonable ones that fit.

Awesome. Id love a car like that. You could pull away from a Carrera in one of those monkeys.

Nicely done.

OT: I like your avatar, those look like 1 piece 17" inch Fuchs, did you custom make them? I think I saw the picture of your car in Excellence, Jim Pasha had mentioned something about the wheels. Can you make 18" Fuchs for a 993 widebody?
