Dr. 914

We are soon to bring this custom 914 into our shop and get it ready for sale but will take an advance contract on the car. Originally a six conversion we are removing the 2.2 engine and installing a freshly rebuilt 1911 cc four cylinder. The rest of the car will remain the same. It will be $28.000 WITH the four cylinder engine installed. With the car not being very stock, why remove a recently rebuilt 6 and replace it with a 4? Seems like with the 5 lug conversion, the 6 is a more desirable and fitting powerplant for the car.

the engine is much too valuable to sit in a custom 914. Someone has a 70-71 911 S missing its s engine and will buy this one. Best thing is that the four engine pods were not cut out

I would leave the six in that car its worth more with it than with the four in less you you take it all the way back to its original form ie bumpers upholstery etc.
