For a while I am looking for a 911 3.2 as a daily driver, I didn't find my perfect car yet.

Now I found (on an auction site) a perfectly restored and tuned 914 with a 911 3.2 engine. What do you think, is this car suitable as a daily driver.

O f course! I think 914 are more fun than 911's. The are more raw so the driving experience is quite exciting. Just you and the gokart!

I tried to check the link you posted but could not connect.

The 3.2 is a terrific engine! If the conversion was done correctly this should be a reliable car. As a daily driver, it may be a bit spartan for some tastes. But, for a "pure" driving experience it would be great fun I think.

There was a very nice 3.2/914 featured in Excellence magazine a couple of years ago. That car was black and finished very nicely.

The president of my local PCA drives a track prepared 914 with a 96 993 engine in it as his daily driver. He really loves it, but he also loved the 5.5 pound flywheel. It depends on your driving style, but I think its a car I could really love.

I have a 914 and a 3.2, but they have not been introduced to each other yet. Actually the 3.2 is for my wifes 73 911, but I'm still convincing her that it is a good match. Let me know if you buy the 914 or get the link fixed.
