Default Started my 914/8 for a spinn today!

What a sound and what crazy car this is!!!
I dont know much about her but its converted back in 1982 by Rod Simpson with a Chevy 350 with Torker Two manifold, and a big Holley on the top, headers.
But 5,7L in this little car is awesome....i can star at 3rd gear and it just pulls.
Unfortunally the brakes arent that good...
But I was happy every time I hit the throttle.

This is acceleration, my Evo 6 is slow...

And it´s quiet funny when you compary to something that are so exotic as a genuine AC Cobra or a Ford GT40....this cars is better when it comes to a lot of things but when you come to performance....
Ford GT40 993kg 306HP
AC Cobra 427 1150kg 425hp

My car has Chevy 350 with 288hp on the rear whells and now we talk DIN and NOT SAE Ponys....
It weights 1061kg, and ofcourse my car its **** when you take it out on a race course or something, but as everybody knows you can buy a lot of performance parts for that money....

Its an fast and crazy car to have and to drive....and with the targa rooof and the mid engine its almost only the 914 that have that!

"I rather have all my cars than buying just one losy GT2"
I concurr!! Very nice list, bud.

It sounds like you need to match your braking and suspension components with that power so you'll have a track KILLER

Yes i must get some roadhold and some brekes, but i dont have the time right know but next winter maybe, the car need some 911 race parts and some GT fenders so that I can get some wider tyres on her.

But after that it will be a nice track car!!

Yes that v8 supercharge 914 car is really nice but I like sleepers...
About 8 year a go I had an old Audi 100 Turbo Quattro from 1987 just a black car the only thing that you could see from the out side that was diffrent from an regular car was the five bolt pattern on the wheels. I Iven had a small 2" exhaust in the rear because I had a oval side pipe sticking out in front of the left rear wheel.
This little sleeper had 429Hp on the wheels not much today but back in the middle of the 1990´s it was owesome at least here in sweden i drove 11.54sec in the quartermile.
And it was really fun to chase Porsche´s with it.
