Default Dirty fuel tank

How do you recommend to clean a fuel tank for a Porsche 914 cleaned it still getting dirt in fuel filter. Should I consider replacement with the dansek tank is that a direct replacement

I used a product from Eastwood when doing my restoration project 20 years ago. I remember washing the inside of the tank with maybe some type of acid and then there was a sealant product that lined the tank.

I would suggest taking it to a radiator shop and asking them to boil it out.

and POR 15 makes a product as well, just remove strip the accessories from the tank, go through the top hole and brush as much debris out as you can then add the product, swish around then lit sit and do it again
