yes you spotted them, i fell in love with them, in the mean time having to do some changes to the rear axle to mount them and they will have turbo3.3 liter rotors



Just a test fitting, still needs the larger rotors

They will require more hydraulic”force” with 4 pistons per caliper

The weight of those calipers is fantastic

Cant wait to test them

Cleaning the engine bay

Tearing the sound deadening out of the fire wall, 914”s never had it i believe

Now the fia /dsmb homologated roll cage fitting, the foams will be added when the interior is finished

Looks great, especially the firewall and floor after cleaning. And that cage is superb.

ever since i saw the scuderia Lufthansa car from Günther Schwarz at the 3 hours of Le Mans with black fuchs, i wanted to have them on my car

I found a sideshift 73 gearbox, Will swap the contents of mine with that one but with a 904 mainshaft to allow the change of gearing , it will get a “lamellen sperre” from bott


Looks good from far

My original 901 gearbox has been sprayed with silver for alloy wheels (like the engine ) from a can ...

The side shift box

Needs to go to the washing machine as well after emptying it

904 main shaft without 2nd gearwheel

Now time to start reinforcing the body and do the cutouts for the oil cooler/ oil lines

Sway bar relocation allowing another local reinforcement

From inside

Starting to make the holes for the oilcooler air outlet

It willbe enlarged still

The handbrake is being relocated in the center

The strengthening of the tunnel for the handbrake

The firewall hole to facilitate the tuning of the engine



Now time to tackle the rocker

Starting to make the holes for the oil lines

Like swiss cheese as they say, holes everywhere

Changing and reinforcing the jacking point for the oil lines


Making space for the oil filter console and thermostat

Pedal box

Reinforcement in the engine bay


Dog ear reinforcement

Power cutout

Now time to work on the front oil cooler intake and outlet, the lower air guide cover is in place
I need to reinforce the lower structure for the tow hook now
