Why not? It wasn't long ago when the 914 received very little love, kind of like a car we're all fond of.

I agree with you Cole,

long overdue, but these two cars were exemplary 914s.
NOT perfect, but very close to it.

This new pricing is sure to bring some really terrific 914s to the front, out of the mothballs, and into the light. Many of which we have MAYBE seen at Concour level judged shows and events. But many which are hidden away and only talked about within closed groups and small circles of friends.

Exciting times !

The zambezi car at amelia was a 5000 mile car with brumos history. Although it had been "rustproofed" early on with numerous holes drilled into it, the collector value of a car of this caliper is priceless if one wants a true representation of the marque, in "as manufactured" condition.

We have several of these cars here including a 5100 mile 914-6 a 5400 mile 71 914-6 a 10,000 mile 74 and an 11,000 mile 76. These are great reference material when restoring a customers car to correct configuration down to the last nut and bolt and are great to display
