Default Afternoon rain and the photos

Drive the car in earnest today. The washer works but wipers do not. The bonnet opens while driving...adjustment required. Underpowered...but keeps up with traffic. Nice handling. Feels like it will go on forever. So first things first....searching for a 911 engine. Found one 2.4 L. .......
Pics though coming up soon

Well done. Thanks for saving what appeared unsalvageable.
Enjoy, and thanks for sharing the process!

Further advances. Having driven it now for a couple of years..not a lot ..depending on weather etc....its been on several long trips to our hilly areas..its been to teh Afghan border...Torkham border post and Michni down the Khyber pass as well as been shown in our classic car meets in Islamabad...these are all 300 miles away...I decided that the original 1600 with the Kardons didnt do the car justice.

Ordered a 2275 stroker with a scat C35 cam and twin 44 carbs..a daily driver set up with torque which will hopefully later allow me to set up an air conditioning system as well to make it a total daily driver.
