Talking A gift for Harry

Hoffman912 is a good friend of some of the "Waterboys" a few forums down, so I thought I'd throw this out for you 912 guys. Hopefully Harry will find it here. Harry, any interest in a 16x20ish print of this? The price is right!
(Or have you already seen it?)
This IS a 912, right? Sorry, I can't tell it from a 911..

Thanks Dan!

its a 911S/T (a 911 rallye model). But it is a very cool print, and an awsome car! How much would you want for a copy?

It's yours Harry, for all the crap you get hanging with the front engine crowd. If I don't see you before then, I'll give it to ya at the fest. It would be a shame to roll it up in a tube and mail, it has never been rolled before.

Sorry for the 911/912 thing, it reminded me of a 912 race car I'd seen in your avatar. The print came from a 1988 Porsche calendar (it's bigger than your average calendar)

Chris, what the heck are you doing over here? you must be bored! Since we are chatting over here in a dark, dusty corner of the 'List, I can whisper a secret.. I'm working on a Art Exhibit for the event. I've been collecting Porsche prints from old factory calendars, and they are flat out 20x24 works of ART! I hope to frame them, as reasonably as I can, and offer them for exhibit and sale at the show. I think you will be impressed.

Shhhh...

Dan, sorry i havent replied back yet, been stir crazy with the engine, and big changes at work (job was out sourced then the company that took the jobs hired me the same day i got laid of -only 15 people out of 50 were left for 2 weeks to keep things up until new hires got trained -lots of over time). oddly enough i do the same job, same pay, same office, just a different company gives me the check, plus a severence package. isnt it weird how capitolism works.

btw.. dont worry about the 911/912 thing. They really are the same exact car, except the engine. btw.. a little secret, just between you and me, my avatar is a 911 advertisement. i use it because i have the driving lights on my 12 and really like the early 911 rallye cars.

Just plan on giving it to me at the 944 fest. Or do you plan on being in mansfield any weekend in may? i plan on driving the 12 up there for some break in runs around the hills. if not, the 44 fest is cool.

fwiw, i love those prints! those will make great door prizes. Youre really inspiring me, and giving me alot of guidance, believe it or not, for alot of the events i set up for the midwest 912 crowd. Youve really set a standard ive been trying to acheive.

I know "over here" I can speak my mind without repurcussion from the watercooler post gestapo.. No such luck on that "other bored".

Not at all. My Dad decided he wants back in the pusher crowd, so I helped him locate his dream car. The best part of it is he needs a place to store it, so we're buying a lift for my garage (10.5 foot ceiling) and storing Porsches double-decker. I suppose the 98 Arena Red C4S will be at the Fest, and I'll welcome it with open arms. It is my father, after all. It looks like you will have someone to park next to over in the "leaning post" parking area!!
