Default Which Fuchs Replicas

Hello everyone. I have a 68 912 that has been through a lot of upgrades - engine rebuild, interior, suspension, and more.

I am currently looking at Fuchs replicas:

1. Maxilite - http://www.sierramadrecollection.com...77-p32656.html
- I can get rims, caps and lugs for $1,600

2. California Import Parts - http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails....15FOO513035BHP
- The package would be $550 to my door with rims, caps, lugs.

Does anyone have any thoughts on these or other ideas?

I have the Maxilite 7" polished Fuchs and they seem decent. The finish isnt as good as original but they are passable for the moment.

I would probably stay away from the CIP ones only because there is no mention of how the wheel is constructed or what it's made out of. It also does not mention if the wheel is TUV approved which leads me to believe it's not. These are likely not very sturdy or high quality and not worthy of a performance rating. I'd stick with the Maxilite. There are enough satisfied customers of their products out there to make a guy feel better about his choice. Good Luck!

I second the maxilite wheels, it took me 3 months to find original wheels for mine.
