Does the salvage title affect the price of this car by that much and thus the reason no one has bid or is there something I'm missing?

 

Yup. Think about it - it was salvaged in 1993. Those cars were worth a pretty penny back then. It had to be substantial damage to be totalled. The other thing is resale. Even if you believe the story that comes with the car, you have to sell that story to the next buyer. $18k seems like a reasonable bid IMO.

 

There are to many other cars out there right now for as good if not better pricing without the title issue. I would consider a car like this to be worth a max of 15-18 on its best day.

Make sure the pix are of the damage that totaled
the car!!!!
