930S Targa
Does anyone have ANY pictures/info/stories to share about the rare 930S Targa (911 Turbo Targa Slant Nose)? It's one of my absolute favorite Porsches.
Thanks,
Kevin

Jack Daniels Porsche in North Jersey had one on their floor for years. Silver/black with 12k mi. They wanted some price that was off the charts for it. I think they ended up selling it to another dealer.

According to Paternie's "Red Book" the 930S became available in the US starting in March 1987. It was option (M506). Here's some data from his book:
1986: 52 factory orders were received for slant-nose conversions. Data on coupe v. targa v. cabriolet was not provided.
"H" Program (Aug '86 - Jul '87) S/N Turbo Targa:
Rest of World (ZZZ) 87
US / Canada (WPOEBO) 87
"J" Program (Aug '87 - Jul '88) S/N Turbo Targa:
Rest of world (ZZZ) Data not provided
Non-S/N turbo targas rest of world: 136
US / Canada (WPOEBO) 591 (seems high, but that's what the book says)
"K" Program (Aug '88 - Jul '89)
Does not provide slant nose data
Rest of world: 115
US / Canada Turbo Targa: 109
