I am looking at an 85 slantnose cab. when I run the vin on carfax it shows club sport. club sport was a wide body non turbo cab I believe. So I think this is a conversion. vin is WP0ZZZ91ZFS100441. does any body have any guesses what this car is?

Clubsport is an entirely different car. Based on the narrowbody 3.2 coupe, it was a stripped version produced in 1988.

You're probably thinking of the super sport, which is a name (commonly used in the UK I think) for the M491/ "Turbo Look" package.

As for the VIN, IDK, someone I'm sure can decode.

IIRC, M491 debuted either in 84 or 85. The early ones, especially in a cab, are quite rare so it is unlikely it started even as an M491.

Probably not a factory slantnose cabriolet.

VIN indicates this car left the factory as an '85, ROW, 911. Is it fitted with 930 calipers/rotors?

Also, not sure if this is a factory cab. 13th digit of US-spec cars is 5 for coupe, 6 for targa, and 7 for cabriolet. What does 0 indicate for a ROW chassis? Not sure. Does the options sticker indicate M491?

AFAIK, the only way to confirm factory configuration [e.g. turbo chassis, slantnose fenders] is via a CoA.

thanks guys. It does say club sport on car fax. It does have the turbo brakes. I think it was originally a coupe. It also has g50 5 speed. I think it must be a converted car.
