I have made it a habit to let the turbo cool before shutting off the car 1, maybe 2 minutes, after a easy drive for the last few miles….But, a great cool down period would be during raising the top. Unfortunately we cannot raise the top while the car is running.

Have any of you modified (rewired) the switch to allow that? Any problems or accidents for those who have? Any other solution to doing that?

I here your call there Reese, I've been wondering the same thing since I got my car. I posted back then and got no responses. It has been on my project list for some time. I don't think its going to be too difficult. I just need to locate the module that controls the top. I'm going to dig in this weekend if I can. Let you know what I find
