Thumbs up The Fabspeed Motorsport 930 Turbo

One of our favorite project cars is our 930 Turbo. It's a raw ride that we all appreciate and when the turbo spools you can't help but smile!

We took her out for a pleasure cruise in the fall, here is a highlight reel:

You can read about the origin story and mod / development path in the November 2015 issue of Excellence Magazine. Viewable in PDF format here.

Our most recent update was the addition of a freshly rebuilt K27 turbo (with updated internals) and a new Fabspeed Zork tube.

You can see all the components that we used in the build here.

Thanks for the share!

The updates look great! The new headers especially.

Do you know if the headers will work with a RUF BTR? Ie. matching up to a K27 and RUF muffler?

Cheers

I can tell you it will match up to a K27 100% as we are currently running that on our 1987 right now. As long as the RUF muffler is a direct factory replacement, it should have no effect on fitment after the turbo as our headers are a perfect fit with the factory exhaust.

Warm weather is finally back! We can't wait to take her back out. Expect a really nice video soon showing off our 930!

Heaven forbid you get a drop of rain on her. Could never claim the always popular "never seen rain" claim. Guaranteed to drop the ultimate selling price $5k.
That's why I like where I live....semi-arid desert, it never rains (...and I'm sticking to it).

Took mine out a couple weeks ago after all the snow was gone. It's a long hard winter without getting behind the wheel.

It's not about rain getting on it, it's about rain getting under it! Severe traction issues when the turbo comes to life on wet roads!
