No matter what the owner paid his Dad for this 1979 930, he got a deal! 2007 - 2008 is when Porsche 911 prices had bottomed out. You could easily pick up a 1994 C2 for $26k or a 1988 for $18-20k. The 1979 930 has probably quadrupled in value, at least.
