Hello all,

I hope that I am not breaking any forum rules here, but I was clearing out my attic and came across something that I had thought I'd never find again.

I have a set of 3.4 liter 8:1 compression pistons and barrels that were intended for my former '82 930... (which as you all know was 3.3 liters 7:1 compression ratio). That baby is in Norway at the moment and I have these parts here.

I paid around $4,000 about 15 years ago for them. What is something like this worth now being that they are not that easy to come by (from my understanding)?

What brand are they? I am staring down the barrel of a rebuild, I may be interested if they would work for me. And of course for the right price.

What you have are basically 98mm barrels.. what barrels & with whose pistons?

That stuff is readily available today through several suppliers.
