Default 930 restoration

Hello, I'm entering the world of early 930s with a 76 930 restoration and picking up 1979 930 in the next few weeks. I'm hoping for some advice regarding updates/upgrades that would be acceptable/desirable for the 76 car. Are exhaust mods ok? any tried and true recommendations? What about AC updates since the car came with a system originally. Any other suggestions? Chain tensioner updates ok?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The question is how do you plan on using car- if you intention is to maximize value of completed car than it needs to restored to factory specifications- really no changes are acceptable/desirable except for pressure fed tensioners.

I think removing the thermal reactors is ok as well-as long as you save them. You could even go to a factory euro exhaust to let the car breath a little better. Just neatly save the OEM stuff.
