Default Variable Boost

Does anyone know who made this Variable Boost ****? It's in a 1978 930.

Thanks for your help.

I did a little more research. Would it make sense that this from a 935? The original owner used to race them back in the day.

It's just an old school variable boost setup/****. Similar ones were used in Porsche race cars. I believe they are worth some serious bucks. Usually known as dial-a-death. Turned up too high and your engine can be toast at peak boost without the proper mods in place.

What boost spring do you have in your 930?

Dial of Death, is an understatement. My mechanic suggested that I remove mine but like the hard head that I am, I didn't listen and cracked my second set of rings after frying several pistons the first time...I'm convinced that I don't have good sense....

It's like having a stripper for a girlfriend. You know better, but it is one wild ride!
