Asking on behalf of a friend who is interested:
87' M491 package, good condition, around 90K miles, asking $33K
Is this fair value? Seems a bit high for me. Thanks!

Factory M491 coupes are rare. Factory M491 cabs are [probably] more rare. Can't recite production numbers off hand, but, they've been posted in countless publications.
With the chassis going on 30 years, miles counts for less than condition. Condition 2 Carreras with appropriate documentation/desirable options are selling for $40k+.
If it's a pedigree [factory M491], with solid mechanicals, and a clean chain of custody, $33k sounds like a bargain to me...

The owner of Bodymotion had a light yellow m491 cab that was in excellent shape that he couldn't give away a half dozen years ago. I think he got around 20k for it. Things have certainly changed. I agree with Allen on the price
