Car won't accelerate
My '97 911 turbo won't accelerate above 60 mph for first 15 - 20 minutes. Only occurs with cold engine start. After running for 20 minutes engine OK. Problem started immediately after 30K checkup. Mechanic said that he set fuel mixture a little rich, but in spec, to protect engine from running too lean. Absolutely no problems after engine warms up. Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I live east of Columbus. Thanks for the compliment. The picture should not have been in the text. I thought I was placing a small picture in my profile. I'm new to this forum writing and apparently don't know how to navigate yet. I like the wheels too, but they're beginning to show corrosion. The coating is old and brittle. I'm having a difficult time removing the corrosion and maintaining the original metal sheen or machine grooves left by the lathe. The car is in excellent condition. I placed third in Concour class at '03 Porsche Parade. I should have had second and missed first by only 0.01 point, but due to scoring error, another competitor got more points. However, I'm elated, as this was my first competition!
