205/55-16 and 245/45-16...
I'm looking for some input on tires. My Dad has an '85 930 he's looking to do some DE's in. The car almost never sees rain and will do a limited number of track days. He's looking for a street tire, but isn't looking to spend $1,500 right now as he will probably upgrade to a larger wheel soon as well.
What is everyone running, and what do you recommend?

I have Yokohama AO32R's in those sizes, though I'll probably go with 225 and 255's next time. They're quite sticky and have a creamy break-away. A full set in those sizes is about 700$ US. I really like them.

I run the Yokos 032R in larger sizes and am happy with them as an R compund all weather track tire. They are inexpensive as far as tires go, last quite a while. They are however, noisy on the street, but also have excellent wet weather characteristics.
