930 1978 930 Slantnose?
Hi all,
Was there any factory slantnose in 1978, including outside the US? I searched but seemed like slantnose was available from 1982. The reason I asked is I may have to purchase 1978 930 Turbo sight unseen and the seller claimed that the car was originally slantnose but was converted to the 930 round lights look. The car does have slantnose sidegrills on the rear quarters from the photos he sent me.

Some very early slantnoses were produced by the factory, but not until 1980.
Read this thread. Lots of info!
Even so, usually an early slantnose does not have slats in the rear quarter. Those were probably added later. This post contradicts that however.
They could be dealer installed. It could have had a full dealer-installed slant kit, but you would need to comb over the car pretty well to find out.
