You should have mentioned that Fabspeed Motorsport USA designed this intercooler in 2010. It is USA manufactured and pressure tested for quality.

fabspeed is the worlds only company that designed a 930 intercooler with NO O-RINGS and we eliminated any and all possible boost leakages.

Fabspeed designed shrouding to be installed to the rear deckid with rubber gaskets that SEAL the top of the intercooler to the decklid so cold air must pass through the intercooler and NOT around it. Those parts were not displayed.

Fabspeed designed all silicone 4 ply hoses to eliminate BEER stiens and parts for a complete simple no onsensen installation.

Fabspeed consulted with Dwain at Vision on this intercooler design and improved upon the Kokelyn design 930 intercooler.

Fabspeed added a threaded water methanol injection port for guys that want to run seriuos boost pressure and use water-methanol injection for added protection.

The Fabspeed 930 intercooler comes with all hoses and parts ready to install on any 930 engine and allows the stock airbox to remain. We can powdercoat black, piant to sample and or mirror polish the tank if you would like.

Joe, that is a fantastic intercooler, probably the best one on the market.

There are some issues if you install this on a '79 or older 930. A vent hose with nowhere to go from your old intercooler into the new one. You have to cap it off, but they didn't inform you of that until you call them and question where it connects on their unit. They were unsure of what to do and after my tech did some pressure testing we capped it off. Did you finally address this issue?

I would love one if you could weld in the connection for the 7th injector. When I called, I was told it was not an option. Yet you'll build me headers with out heater boxes.

Our intercooler has the same set up as the factory as the connections go. We do not modify them for special circumstances.

I recently had a 930T client of mine by the name of Peter install our 930T long neck intercooler, and he offered up some fantastic feedback to share with the 930T community. Enjoy!

                "John,good afternoon.

It's all done! Enfin,as our ex EU neighbours would say.

So when I opened the box I thought. "Wow! That looks beautifully made. Just what I've come to
expect from FabSpeed. Then I thought. "It's huge. Will it really fit." (Oh yea of little faith!)
My only real slight doubt was the natural finish aluminium shroud which would seal the intercooler
against the satin black mesh of the Tea Tray spoiler and which would stick out like a spare ***** at
a wedding! So I took my courage in both hands and sprayed the top with heat resistant satin black, which I thought went in really well when fitted.

                And the end result........

                One word:- IMPRESSIVE.

The turbo still spools up at 2800 and reaches 0.8 bar at 3200 but the improvement in acceleration
is fantastic. If it felt quick before, now it's mind blowing and the exhaust sounds truly unbelievable
and still has the 911 howl. I love it even more and it was worth the work. I have to admit that my view
subjective but then so is any "driving impression." Thank you so much.

                And my review:

                Breath In,Breath Out.

As a retired Anaesthesiologist,I know that inspiration and expiration must be maximised to optimise gas exchange in the lungs. In an engine,Poiseuille's Law dictates that the same principle applies during a combustion cycle. After replacing the exhaust on my 930 Turbo with the FabSpeed System I was so impressed that I decided to fit a FabSpeed long neck intercooler.

Worth every penny! Again it's beautifully made as one would expect from FabSpeed. I have to admit that it's a very snug fit but the end result is very impressive. The turbo still comes in at 2800 and reaches 0.8 bar at 3200. But almost immediately and the acceleration.........! If I thought it was quick before, now it feels lightning. And the combination with the exhaust sounds fantastic. I have to admit that my view is subjective but then,so is a "driving experience,"and that is hugely improved. If I loved my 1988 930 Turbo Targa before, now I'm restarting the affair! The combination of Intercooler and Exhaust is a must have."

Nick from German Auto Specialists just stopped over in their latest and greatest 930 build. Practically the entire car has been redone and it's outfitted with nearly everything we offer. Check out this beauty!

Here are some quick pics of the Fabspeed Long Neck Intercooler on our 930! It's been a long winter tucked away in the shop - she's aching to get back outside to stretch her legs!

                Greetings:
Nice intercooler, but I seen the rear/back pop off on a 930 - spewing oil everywhere. The two clamps weren't enough to hold it down. A rear bracket should be fabricated like Andial/Garretson. I did mention this a long time ago on Pelican.

PS-I love your long tube headers for the 991 GT3/RS.

Walt, thank you! We haven't seen this personally, but I'll relay this info over to R&D.

Thank you! We're very proud of our new Long Tube headers!
