Post Oil temp sender

The oil temperature gauge stopped working a few days ago [needle does not move]. No problems with the other instruments. Checked the wiring to the gauge and all seems ok. I want to check both the wiring to the sending unit and the unit itself, but don't know where it is located. Help.

The oil temp sender is right below the oil pressure sender on the passenger side of the engine. Look directly at the base of the fan on the right side you will see the oil pressure sending unit directly above the cam chain cover. Below that is the temp sender.
