Fuchs alloys
Hi Guys
I would really appreciate your help with this, I have recently sold my Turbo Fuchs rims. However the buyer isnt collecting until the weekend, I read an advert offering Fuchs copies for sale this worried me as I want to make sure what I am seliing is the real deal. I dont wantto rip anyone off, so is there any way I can tell if the wheels are genuine.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Barry

From: Dallas, then Annapolis - now Laguna Beach CA. Well, not so fast - I'm back in Dallas. For good!
One method of checking might be to see if they have the little support piece for the valve stem. This is something that Porsche has had for years and i doubt that a aftermarket "copy" would have them.
Just a thought...

You might want to check with the very knowlegable folks at WheelEnhancements.com for guidance. They do lots of reconditioning work on Fuchs wheels. As far as the valve stem support goes, these are add-ons you can buy so they may not indicate the genuine article.

I have wire brushed the inside of the wheels and found the porsche part number and cross referenced this on my PET program they are correct and original. Also there is indeed a triangle with somthing stamped in the centre, I suppose it could be a fox!
cheers
