Got the report back on my 87 930s...good news is engine, trans, pretty much all, original and looks good. Engine will prob need reseal in a couple of years, and shocks/rubber all original, so will tackle each in time. Brake lines were bit worn, replacing those now, and do want to drive in fall/winter on nice Virginia days, so leaving original exhaust/headers in attic, And putting on a fabspeed system, can always put on later or hand to future owner, (hopefully my boy Max! But that's many years down road)....there a rennlist or pca discount? . Thx on tire advice, gonna snag a couple of sets and keep extra in climate controlled storage, get original Fuchs back on her soon...hopefully someone might be interested in the HRE C21's down road...in fact, they liked car so much feel I have it underinsured!...they were thinking more like 60-65k...appreciate advice/input from all, and enjoy soaking up y'all's knowledge! Let me know when u plan to bring it out to C&CR. My 930 is generally the only 930 there, though there is an excellent original owner 1993 3.6l turbo.

 

You bet! Was out there a few weeks ago and the unofficial group photographer got some real good pics for the CnCR website...breakfast at Boychiks and tons of wicked cool cars makes for a great Saturday am....
